Mello Night Icon Pack APK is an app for people who like dark themes and want to make their phone home screen look different. It comes with thousands of custom icons using a soft color palette, so the icons look more consistent instead of having many different shapes and colors. The design is not too complicated, which is probably what makes it nice to use with a dark wallpaper. If you like changing your home screen from time to time, this pack gives you quite a few things to try.
GIVE YOUR HOME SCREEN A NEW LOOK
The best thing about Mello Night is its collection of icons. There are more than 3,550 icons available, and the developer says new ones are added every week. Of course, not every app you have will necessarily be covered, but there are some useful options to help you customize the look.
- Dark Icon Design: The icons use a calm color palette and do not follow one fixed shape. This makes them fit nicely with dark wallpapers and simple home screen layouts without looking too busy.
- Multiple Color Palettes: You can choose different color palettes for system icons. This is useful if you want your icons to match the rest of your phone instead of keeping the same colors everywhere.
- Alternate Icons: Some icons have alternative versions, so you can pick another design if the default one is not really your style.
- Folder Icons: Mello Night also includes folder icons. It is a small detail, but it helps the home screen look more complete when you have several folders for your apps.
WALLPAPERS AND USEFUL FEATURES
Besides the icons, Mello Night includes 14 cloud-based wallpapers. You can use one of them with the icon pack or keep your current wallpaper if you already have a setup you like. The collection is not very large, but it gives you a few choices without needing to look for another wallpaper app.
- Icons Request Tool: Missing an icon for one of your apps? You can send an icon request through the app. The developer asks users to do this before leaving a low rating because missing icons may be added in future updates.
- Launcher Support: The pack supports many popular launchers, including Nova Launcher, Action Launcher, Apex, Lawnchair, Hyperion, and others. However, you need a third-party launcher that supports icon packs. Installing Mello Night alone may not change anything on your home screen.
- Blueprint Dashboard: The app uses the Blueprint dashboard made by Jahir Fiquitiva. It gives you a way to browse the icon pack and access its features in one place.
Mello Night Icon Pack is a nice option if you want a cleaner dark home screen without spending too much time choosing icons one by one. The large collection and weekly updates are good points, although you may still find some missing icons. Just make sure your launcher supports icon packs before installing it.
